In light of the 800+ comments on the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I have news for you, bo omers: some mid-engined cars have trunks.
We don’t know what the C8's trunk configuration is yet. Maybe it has a trunk! Maybe it has a frunk! Maybe it has both!
Both the original and current NSX have trunks.
And lookie here at the Lotus Evora that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! not one, but two golf bags in its trunk!
Shut the fuck up about your golf clubs already, Grandpa! You’re not that good at golf anyway. Go ride your Harley with your !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Came here to say that yuengling lager is absolute trash.

My MR2 has a trunk and a frunk. I have never been wanting for additional cargo space in this thing. If packaged appropriately, the new Corvette might be even more practical than the old one, thanks to a deeper trunk in the back. The C7's rear hatch is pretty shallow.

Hmm and we an LS could potentially be compact enough to have a trunk.
I don’t Golf, but wonder how many people actually drive their sports cars to the cour se opposed to their E class.

This statement is not in dispute. Makes for a good picture though!

I dunno. I like it for the money.

I don’t drink enough to buy anything cheap most of the time, Hamms is my go to.

What kind of taste-blind monster needs that much Yuengling? It tastes like old, wet sawdust and regret.

Based on my many years of experience living in the midwest, there are many old dudes who either DD their Corvettes, or if not, want nothing more than to cruise with them to the golf course where they duff around, drink beer, try to hit on the beer cart girl, and show off by leaving their keys on the bar after shooting 20 over par.

I’ve live in PA my whole life except college (VT), so I should be a devout fan. I just hate the “thick”aftertaste. All of those IPAs and LSD in Vermont changed me.

I visit a golf and tennis club quite often (but don’t play golf) and I’m sure there are cars there to just show off. Most of the members keep their bags at the club, though.

My theory is whoever took this pic wanted to buy the cheapest possible beer to find out how many cases fit in an NSX trunk. The reddit post it came from is unclear. But it does contain plentiful Yuengling trash talk.

I enjoyed this rant.

Seriously, fitting golf clubs is the only reason (I bet) it has such a large squared off ass.
plus the hatch opening is huge

I work for a craft brewery now, so I rarely drink yuengling anymore, but college was a different story haha!
![]() 07/18/2019 at 14:17 |

Yea I mean I’d have drank someone elses beer that had been sitting in the sun when I was in college haha.

I’d say Yue
ngling doesn’t have a thick aftertaste as much as it comes pre-skunked from the brewery. Stupid green bottles.

The NSX comparison is important, since it also does the whole sports car you can use every day as your only car thing. GM would have to be crazy not to benchmark it in some way, or take some inspiration from the design. Just like they would have to be crazy to completely ignore a major concern for a huge segment of the car's customer base. Save the hysteria until you know for sure that there's actually a problem.

But what if you have the Al Czervik model golf bag?

...Why not Natty?

I think you’re spot on - the GM small block is a pretty compact motor, and with that rather large rear deck on the thing, I can see it as having plenty of space for a couple sets of clubs.

maybe boomers just like to complain. see:
-back when i was your age, we only had sticks to play with
-back when i was your age, we had to walk uphill both ways in the snow
-millenials are ruining everything
-mid engine corvettes aren’t real corvettes

W hen the only other choices on tap are Bud Lite and Coors Lite, it tastes like the promised land.
However, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an NSX in front of the bars I’m ref er r ing to above. Only the ones that had Lowenbrau.

I’m surprised the whole golf-bag thing is a big deal. I figured that wouldn’t even make the top 10 list of complaints.
Complaints # 1-7 are “Where’s the damn engine? I pop the hood and I can’t see the fucking V- 8 ???? This is HORSE SHIT!!!”

I fit 2 scuba tanks with room to spare in my trunk, then all my gear in the frunk. Showing up to a beach in a Cayman and going diving is a pleasure just for the reactions.

Pictures of the key fob show buttons to open the trunk and the frunk.
What’s wrong with just putting the clubs in the passenger seat? I did that in my cayman this weekend.

I thought all Yuenglings were killed off a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. What you’re saying is that this post does not give you a new hope. Also, props to the OP for using “its” correctly. Even if I feel attacked for my choice of sneakers (at least they’re grey not white?).

I love Yuengling, but it needs to be on tap. I’ve never really been a fan of can or bottles. It should be noted that distribution has yet to reach Wisconsin, so I only get it when I go to the eastern seaboard.
